Display case of Southwestern mammals

The faunas of the northern Chihuahuan Desert show high biodiversity. Most of the Centennial Museum research and teaching collections are held by the Museum's Laboratory for Environmental Biology. However, taxodermic specimens of a number of Southwestern animals are on display in the Museum's Bird and Mammal Gallery. One of several cases is shown here.
