• Geographic Range: Mountain slopes and canyons, south-central New Mexico to Trans-Pecos of Texas.
• Plant Form: Shrub to 5' tall.
• Remarks: Basally branching, essentially glabrous stems with spathulate leaves and clustered heads of golden disk flowers and rarely short rays in fall.
