- Geographic Range: Wyoming to North Dakota, south to Utah, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas, but not in Trans-Pecos Texas.
- Plant Form: Herbaceous perennial 12" x 24"
- Remarks: Claret color that mixes well with short grasses. Blooms spring into summer. Full sun to partial shade, moderate water.
