- Geographic Range: Uncommon in Big Bend National Park, Texas, and Chihuahua, Mexico.
- Plant Form: Shrub, 3' H x 3' W or more.
- Remarks: Graceful, thin-stemmed shrub displaying long delicate, pinnately compound, yellow-green leaves with numerous tiny leaflets. The scattered, solitary, half-inch
classic pea-shaped flowers are yellow, sometimes tinged with green, appear in summer, and are followed by short flattened legumes. Full sun, low water, good drainage. Moderately hardy.
