• Geographic Range: Central North America from southern Canada to southern Mexico; west to southern California, Nevada and Montana, east to Wisconsin, Illinois, and Oklahoma.
• Plant Form: Perennial, tufted grass.
• Remarks: Little water, full sun. May form open, sparse turf.
