- Scientific Name: Baileya multiradiata (BAIL-lee-uh mul-tee-ray-dee-AY-tuh)
- Family: Asteraceae (Sunflower Family)
- Geographic Range: California, Nevada, and Utah southeast through Arizona, New Mexico, and western Texas to Chihuahua and Coahuila, Mexico.
- Plant Form: Herbaceous short-lived perennial, 12" x 12".
- Remarks: Long-blooming, daisy-like, golden-yellow flowers up to 2" in diameter held in small mounds of wooly, silver gray-green foliage. Low water, full sun, very well
draining soil, hardy. Attracts butterflies and blooms frost to frost.
