- Geographic Range: Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona; northern Mexico.
- Plant form: Herbaceous perennial to 1½' H.
- Remarks: Multiple slender stems with pale lead-blue to white flowers in spring followed by pairs of long tubular seed pods. Dies to ground in winter, low to moderate water,
full to light shade.
