- Geographic Range: Southwestern New Mexico, southern Arizona, and Sonora in Mexico.
- Plant Form: Rosette shrub, 1' X 1'
- Remarks: Small, densely clumping rosettes of narrow, yellow-green, spine-tipped leaves with scattered coarse filaments on otherwise smooth brown margins. Dies after producing
un-branched 5' to 8' spike of dull yellow but fragrant flowers. Offsets freely. Low water, full sun, well draining soils, hardy to 10°.
