- Geographic Range: Warm deserts of North America, extending into México to Durango, Zacatecas, Aguacalientes, and San Luis Potosí, with separated populations in
Querétaro and Hidalgo.
- Description: Evergreen shrub, commonly to 4' tall, but exceptionally to about 15'.
