• Scientific Name: Hibiscus denudatus (high-BIS-cus dee-new-DAY-tus)
• Family: Malvaceae (Mallow Family)
• Geographic Range: California and Nevada east to western Texas and south to central Mexico.
• Plant Form: Subshrub 1' to 3' H.
• Remarks: Pinkish to lavender flowers throughout warm season. Full sun, little water.
