- Geographic Range: Nearly limited to the geographic range of the Chihuahuan Desert from southeastern Arizona to Texas and south into Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Zacatecas,
and San Luis Potosí.
- Plant Form: Strongly aromatic, much branched, densely leafy, perennial shrub 1' to 3' tall, occasionally to as much as 6'.
- Remarks: Flowers small, yellow, inconspicuous. Prefers heavy, deep soils; full sun, light water.
