• Family: Fabaceae-Papilioniodeae (Pea Family)
• Geographic Range: Central Mexico, Guatemala.
• Plant Form: Deciduous to semi-evergreen shrub, 6' H x 6' W.
• Remarks: Deep lime green, compound foliage with yellow flowers in late fall. Low water, full sun or part shade. Good drainage. Deciduous at 25° F., marginally cold hardy to 15° F. Cut back half to two-thirds in late winter to maintain dense growth. Sold commercially as "Sierra Moonrise"™.
