Chihuahuan Desert Gardens. Over 600 species of native plants from the Greater Chihuahuan Desert Region are grown in the Chihuahuan Desert Gardens.

Chihuahuan Desert Plants. Hundreds of native plants from the Greater Chihuahuan Desert Region are listed, most with photographs and basic information.

FloraFEST and Native Plant Sale. FloraFEST is an annual combination of activities concerning the use of native plants in desert landscaping and a native plant sale. The activities are at the end of April, culminating in the native plant sale on the last weekend of April. The list of plants that were on sale at the 2009 FloraFEST plant sale has been kept online since many of the same kinds will be available for the 2010 FloraFEST sale.

CAUTION: Numerous species of wild and domestic plants are poisonous to greater or lesser degree. No part of a plant should be chewed or eaten without specific knowledge that it is harmless.
